1912- Edwardian Corset

Flat patterned Edwardian Corset with embellishments by Nikki M. Harada. 2 yards of olive green linen. 2 yards of beige coutil. 1 busk, 8 1/4” spiral bones, 6 1/2” steel bones, 4 1/4” steel bones, bone casing, lace, ribbon, yellow bias tape, and embroidery floss.

The process included flat patterning, creating a mock up, fitting, pattern corrections, fashion fitting, and corrections. I also created a sample based on my research of flossing and embellishments. 2025.
